As Tết approaches, Ho Chi Minh City transforms into a visual symphony of color, light, and life. Streets bloom with flowers and red lanterns, markets overflow with energy, and families prepare offerings for their ancestors. Every corner of the city tells a story - from ancient pagodas wrapped in incense smoke to tiny street food stalls buzzing with conversation and the clatter of chopsticks.
This is the backdrop for our 5-day Street Photography workshop - a journey through Saigon’s vibrant streets just before the Lunar New Year, the country’s most meaningful celebration. Together, we’ll wander through the flower market of district 10, explore the rituals of Chợ Lớn’s temples, and find beauty in the fleeting, everyday scenes that define life here.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn how to craft a compelling visual narrative - moving beyond single images to tell the story of a city in transformation. With its mix of tradition and modern energy, Saigon before Tết is a street photographer’s dream.
